I view therapy as a collaborative, safe, and welcoming space where you are met with curiosity instead of judgment. I look at the whole picture of your life and how your health and wellbeing, your personal history, your family dynamics, and your cultural background all connect to impact your mental health. In the therapy room, I am a compassionate partner who is here to support you through life’s most difficult and painful challenges.
I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Indigenous Trauma and Resilience. In my training and practice, I focus heavily on healing from trauma and building resilience through a cultural and compassionate lens, while gently untangling barriers and complexities and identifying specific factors that might be hindering your personal growth. To give you the best care possible, I use a mix of proven, effective therapies, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and attachment-focused approaches. I tailor my sessions to fit your unique needs, and I am proud to offer therapy in English, Hindi, and Punjabi to make care more accessible.
Outside of the therapy room, my heart belongs to my family, and I love exploring the beautiful Lower Mainland with my husband, our young daughter, and our dog. I am also an enthusiastic organic gardener who loves growing vegetables in containers and learning how different plants thrive together. On my own journey of personal growth, you can usually find me reading books that explore spiritual and deep life themes.
